ProcureLens UK is an independent procurement intelligence platform for SME and mid-market organisations — typically £15m to £250m turnover — that have outgrown spreadsheets and personal Rolodexes but for whom enterprise procurement suites (Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua) are over-priced, over-scoped and culturally wrong.
We exist for one reason: to make supplier selection in the UK defensible. Not faster for its own sake. Not flashier. Defensible — the kind of decision a buyer can hand to an auditor, a board, an ESG reviewer or a regulator and have it stand on its own.
UK procurement professionals are asked to deliver enterprise-grade rigour with mid-market budgets and lean teams. The market has historically given them two choices: spreadsheets that don't scale, or six-figure suites built for FTSE 100 buyers and their consulting partners. We are building the third option — a focused, opinionated, UK-native platform that compresses the work without diluting the standard.
We are paid by the buyer. Suppliers cannot pay for placement, ranking, badges, or featured status. There is no 'sponsored result' tier and there never will be. This single rule shapes every product decision.
We index publicly available data and structured buyer evaluations — not vendor-supplied marketing copy. Where data is thin, we say so. Where a signal is uncertain, we show the confidence interval rather than a false-precision score.
Every shortlist, score and decision is captured as a timestamped, exportable record an auditor, ESG reviewer or senior committee can follow. We optimise for defensibility, not dopamine.
We are not a global platform retrofitted to the UK. Companies House, Modern Slavery Act statements, UK ESG schemes, regional supplier ecosystems and Sterling-denominated benchmarks are first-class concerns, not feature flags.
Procurement is a serious profession. The tooling should be quiet, considered and respectful of the user's attention — closer to a Bloomberg terminal than a consumer dashboard.
We collect the minimum personal data required to operate. We do not sell data. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers. UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 are the floor, not the ceiling.
We would rather have a calibrated buyer who understands the methodology than a sign-up who churns in eight weeks. If you run procurement at a UK SME or mid-market organisation, we will sit with you for thirty minutes and show you how a real evaluation runs end to end.
